Fredric March, Carole Lombard

A small town girl (Carole Lombard) who mistakenly believes she's dying of radium poisoning is turned into a media sensation by an unscrupulous journalist (Fredric March) who wants to use her tragedy to restore his damaged career. As he learns she has been faking the illness to escape her dull life, he begins to realize he's in love with her.
